THE 19TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF IAPTC 2013
The 19th annual conference of International Association of Peacekeeping Training Center or IAPTC was held in Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training Center (BIPSOT) from 28 to 31 of October 2013. The Indonesian National Defence Forces (INDF) Peace Keeping Center (PMPP TNI) Commander Brigadier General AM Putranto, S.Sos, along with Director of International Cooperation and Information of PMPP TNI LtCol Taufik Budi Santoso were among the participants.
The next IAPTC conference will be conducted in PMPP TNI from 23 to 26 of June 2014. Therefore during this event, Brigadier General AM Putranto, S.Sos was given the exclusive opportunity to present the planning progress for the 20th conference.
The purposes of this annual event are not only to develope a better understanding about objectives and methods that can be used to improve a peacekeeping Pre-Deployment Training but also to enhance the cooperation among peacekeeping training center institutions, universities and other national and international organisations who share common interest.
THE 2ND MEETING OF ASEAN PEACEKEEPING CENTERS NETWORK (APCN) 2013
The Indonesian National Defence Forces Peacekeeping Center (PMPP TNI) in conjunction with Indonesia Ministry of Defence (MoD) have conducted The 2nd Meeting of ASEAN Peacekeeping Centers Network, at Sentul Bogor, East Java, Indonesia from 2 to 6 September 2013. This regional event attended by 10 ASEAN member Countries.
The second meeting co host by Indonesia and Thailand Armed Forces. The meeting aims to promote and enhance cooperation among armed forces organisations within ASEAN member states through sharing of experiences, expertise and other related issues on peacekeeping.
The 1st ELT Indonesia International Conference English for Uniformed Forces
The 1st ELT International Conference - English for Uniformed Forces aims to explore English language teaching for uniformed forces in Indonesia, East Asia and all around the world. This conference will explore the design, development and delivery of English language materials for uniformed forces. This serves at domestic and international level, as English is seen as universal language of mission and security in military and police action. This conference was held on 26-28 June 2013
